Accessibility
This statement relates to content available on the State Emergency Service (SES) FloodSafe website www.floodsafe.nsw.gov.au. If you have any questions or comments about this statement or the content on this site, please contact us.
Access Keys
Access keys function exactly like hot keys in any Microsoft application. They are intended as an accessibility aid for vision impaired users to skip directly to relevant content areas on a page. Internet Explorer (IE) has supported access keys since version 4, Netscape since version 6. Older browsers do not support accesskey functions, but this will not effect the visual delivery of content.
To use the access keys on the FloodSafe Website, Windows users can navigate with the access key feature by typing ALT+Access key followed by Return. Using a Mac, you will need to use CTRL+Access key (not COMMAND+Access key, which can produce undesirable effects).
Please type ALT (or CTRL for the Mac) +:
1 = Homepage.
2 = Access keys explained.
3 = Go directly to the Sitemap.
4 = Feedback.
S = Bypass the navigation and go to the main content of your current page.
